reservation #LNAVKN #ZJNODN Purchased a JetBlue vacation package that included all-inclusive hotel in Cancun Mexico for 2 adults and a one year old boy. The flight was scheduled to leave at 2:53pm from Cancun Airport, but kept getting delayed. We left the hotel at 11:45am on 7/25/2023. By the time we finished check in, the agent at the counter told us the flight was scheduled to leave 6:18pm and arriving in New York JFK airport at 11:33pm. I have it in writing. We kept on getting delayed messages which I saved all the images. Now the flight is delayed to 11am. I understand that there are uncontrollable circumstances. We are traveling with 4 adults and two children(2 and 1 year old). The biggest problem is now the flight is delayed more than 20 hours and now there are complications in our daily lives. My friend owns a nail salon and now his store is about to lose a full day of profit which is over $1000. I am going to miss a contract deal that I had a meeting to close for my business which is costing me $2445 and a hotel reservation that I booked for $1577.10. We are sincerely reaching out to find a solution to resolve the issue.

Jet blue cancelled my flight for maintenance which in all reality means you over flew the pilot so they cant fly again. There were barely any flights they could put me on. I couldnt get a refund. I couldnt be guaranteed a seat and had to pay $80 for a service animal seat. Jet blue also tried putting me on a flight where I would have 27 minutes to get to my next flight. Which would be no where near enough time to get my bags and myself to that flight. And the next flight after that was not until 10pm. So, now I have to drive 7 hours to JFK because they cant have reasonable flight times and when they do they cancel them. On top of that they cancelled my flight less than 12 hours before I was supposed to be departing. They were really not that helpful what so ever. Then they want to charge you $25 to talk to someone for a screw up that they made. Jet blue needs to do better and you can bet I will never be flying jet blue again. Which sucks for them because they are the only flight that is direct to Grenada and I have to go to school in Grenada for the next three years. That is two flights a semester four flights a year and roughly $2,000 (not including baggage and all their other fees that they charge) a year that they will be losing. Oh and no reimbursement was offered nor an email sent like I was told I would get from the customer service lady. This is by far the biggest joke of an airline. I have flown jet blue for years and have never experienced such ridiculousness. Im beyond aggravated and disappointed with how low this company has gone and how far their standards have dropped. Its truly disgusting and sad. The fact that I will have to fly American is even worse because they have even more issues. However, at least they offer accommodations and vouchers for their screw ups because they plan for their screw ups. I dont know what jet blue is doing, but they need to get it together. All of the money people pay and you cant even have proper scheduling is just outrageous.

I made my reservation for my upcoming flight with a customer service representative specifically requesting seats that are Even More Space. I have a medical condition requiring this accommodation. I repeatedly shared with the customer service representative and stressed the urgency of this accommodation when booking this reservation. When I took my outbound flight I was seated in a regular seat and suffered greatly because of this. In anticipation of this error I placed a call today to customer service to rectify this matter and was given information in industry jargon which was unclear to me. I placed my faith in the Jet Blue organization when placing my reservation and felt that the customer service representative was very scripted in their response rather than being empathetic. I expressed my dissatisfaction with the resolution and requested to speak with a supervisor to which I was told the supervisor would say the same thing. This has been very discouraging. I was not given the impression that my business was valued. I am very disappointed that the customer service representative did not show empathy towards my disability. My goal in writing this is to make the organization aware of this issue, hope for a resolution and awareness so that those representing Jet Blue receive education or training to handle situations like these in a matter that creates a valued experience for their customers. I welcome a response and would like an opportunity to discuss this matter further. Thank you for your time.

Reimbursement for missed flight and standby flight did not get on.

The flight was missed by 6 passengers because JetBlue did not send information on what was needed for the destination. The JetBlue agents at the gate would not assist the passengers with the online form that was difficult to get. The passengers were charged to go on standby on another flight, but not all passengers were boarded. And when I called for reimbursement on the fee paid for those that did not board, I was told they could not get reimbursed. The JetBlue agent at the airport said they would get reimbursed. It is all a scam! And JetBlue has no respect for True Blue members. They overbook on purpose, charge extra fees, have people miss their flights and then they wont reimburse you. A complete scam!

It is not the customer's responsibility to know that there is a required form that can ONLY be retrieve online. Have some respect for the elderly traveling that do not know how to navigate the online process.

And the TRUE BLUE you are in accurate is not about just signing up, but we PURCHASE to have additional perks. Get your facts straight before responding.

Funny how everyone else made the flight and had no problem. As far as TrueBlue, you only pay if you do not have the required number of points.

They let you use points and cash.

Nonmembers can just pay all cash for the same perk. Do better.

It is not JetBlue’s responsibility to make sure you have all your forms/documents. In addition to a passport you could need a visa, a tourist card, proof of health insurance, proof of onward or return travel among other things.

It is up to you to research this. Also, leave out the “they don’t value TrueBlue members.” That is a perk that is free to sign up for.

You did nothing that makes you valuable to them. Next time do better.

Left behind a pair of beats headphones. Call to ask if they were found and the plane. All seeking lost and found number never able to get through. Finally after about 30 min or so I reached JetBlue customer service and was told there was nothing JetBlue could do about this. Ask if there was some sort of lost and found of left or forgotten items. I was told the check the airport and see. WOW!!! Thanks JetBlue.

We were booked on the 7:54 p flight on 9/11 from Boston to Orlando. The flight was delayed and then cancelled. So we changed to an earlier 4:15 flight. We sat on the tarmac and did not depart until after 6:15. Pilot was told they were rerouting the flight. That occurred several times. We reach Orlando and were unable to land due to weather closure of airport. Pilot advised we would stay in holding pattern until airport reopened. Flight was eventually diverted to West Palm Beach airport for refueling and waiting for Orlando Airport to open. We departed West Palm beach at sometime after 11:15 p. Our total time held hostage in that plane was eighth hours. Flight attendants NEVER offered us something to drink or eat. The bathrooms were dirty and disgusting and lines were LONG. The flight attendants were rude and kept telling us on PA to stay in our seats. They even said the more people who use thE bathrooms will delay our departure because they will have to empty the waste. Who says that to passengers who have to go to the bathroom after hours on a flight. They would not let us depart the airplane at West Palm beach airport. But They could have had beverages and snack food delivered for us starving customers. Maybe had someone clean the disgusting bathrooms. We were first time Jet Blue flyers and will never, I say never use you again. We will stick to Southwest for short domestic flights. Shame on you for your deplorable customer treatment. It was especially harder on us older customers. I know the flight crew were not happy with the situation but they could have been less *** to us. John and Georgeanne Neeler

Compensation for missed connecting flight due to initial flight delay

Initial flight out of JFK delayed due to maintenance resulting in missed connecting flight to Costa Rica for vacation. I spoke with Just Ask customer service at JFK and they said there are no other flights to Costa Rica that day and we would have to fly out the next day. We chose to fly to our connecting airport even though we knew we would miss the flight. We spoke to Just Ask in Fort Lauderdale and they had no same day flights. We spoke to our travel agent and he found a Spirit flight departing at 11pm but it was an additional $450 for our party of 3. The Just Ask rep removed us from the JetBlue flight from Fort Lauderdale to San Jose, Costa Rica and said we would be given a refund for that flight for all 3 passengers in out party. We spent the day in Fort Lauderdale and had several unexpected expenses including rental car, lunch, dinner and parking due to the flight situation caused by JetBlue. Additionally we had to move our entire week long vacation around and one if our hotels were not able to accommodate us for the shift in dates so we had to pay for another night in a different hotel. All we wanted was for JetBlue to reimburse the missed flight, the expenses incurred in Fort Lauderdale and the additional hotel expense. The Jet Blue escalation department supervisor said that there is no compensation for our flight and she cannot help me. I will be emailing the CEO of Jet Blue regarding this situation.
