Took 6 am flight August 20 from Hartford to Ft Lauderdale. Plane arrived from SanJuan lan hour late Flight delayed an hour - deplaning and fueled.

Arrival time updated to 10:15 am. Then plane diverted to Orlando due to fuel shortage. Sat on plane with no A/C, sick passengers and crying children for over an hour waiting to be fueled. Arrived in Ft Lauderdale at 12:57 PM.

Nearly 4 HOURS late. Many missed connections!!

Worse flight ever on JetBlue. Customer service refused to resend or offer anything for poor service.

Alot of the issues is directly resulting from the people that work at Jetblue, from Customer Service up to Corporate. It has to be a culture thing that has turned south over the past few years.

I booked a flight for my family of four from NY to MCO over two months in advance, and I paid extra for preferred seat reservations to have my family sit together as I have a 2 year old and 1 year old. I signed up for a JetBlue Plus card for a promotion, but it took a month to get the actual card. With that was about 7 hours of back and forth with JetBlue Customer Service, where reps lied about "expediting" my card when it was shipped as a regular letter through USPS. Once I received it, I called JetBlue to change form of payment to my JetBlue Plus card (standard practice).

HOWEVER, the agent that changed my payment from one credit card to the JetBlue credit card cancelled my seat reservations WITHOUT telling me. I found out a week later by chance while I was glancing through my calendar. And sure enough, one of the seats I had originally reserved was snatched up. I called customer service to see if we could get in touch with the customer as there were single openings everywhere or get assistance so we can sit together (there were seats in the Even More Space seating) since JetBlue was the one that cancelled our seat reservations, but after being horsed around for 8 hours with multiple reps who gave responses as "No the agent must have told you" or "We can book you all together in row 27" or clearly hated their job and spoke slowly and hung up after 30 minutes, there was no resolution.

So we had to purchase straddled seating reservations as 9D 8E 9F (our original seats were 8D 8E 8F) and hope that the agents at LGA could help us get in touch with the person at 9E to see if they would like to sit in 8E instead. However, at the airport, the agent said they don't help with seats (the check in counter doesn't help with seating??) and to go to the gate. The gate said they don't make changes and the counter agents should have helped (so who is lying?)
Then we get into the plane, and managed to talk with the person in 9E who was willing to get a closer row to the front. However, JetBlue delays the flight for 30 minutes.

Then the delay becomes an hour. They say the delay is due to too many airplanes going into MCO and they can't get a spot. They have us offboard to "stretch our legs" and then have us reboard. Then they tell us the weather is causing MCO to block inbound flights.

However the weather report was fine at MCO and other airlines had no issues like this (ie. Delta at similar time). Then at the 2 hour mark, they cancel the flight "due to weather" (because they don't want to pay compensation as weather delays are an act of god, rather than the traffic issue they were describing at first. They were on the phone with corporate over the 2 hours and clearly were advised to change the story to "weather cancellation" so they didn't have to pay compensation.

That is sketchy corporate advice from Kate Hart, Director, Customer Experience Operations).
In the resulting mayhem of being evacuated from the plane, we got split as I was forced to go to baggage claim with a stroller, and to add injury to insult, my brand new luggage set was dented hard on the corners by the lousy JetBlue baggage handlers. They must have been chucking the luggages from an elevated height as my luggages were all dented inwards and two had the wheels dented in so I couldn't even stand them or roll them properly. This damage was all done in-house by the lousy JetBlue baggage team in LaGuardia since our flight never departed!
Oh and then at the "rebooking" counter, which was basically just the agent counter you see as you come into LGA (because they really lie or twist their words so you don't know what's going on along the way), they told us they couldn't compensate us for any of the plans we originally had paid for, and that the next flight was the next evening. Absolutely terrible!
So from lousy phone customer service, to lousy check-in agents, to shady cabin crew and corporate, to lousy baggage handlers, JetBlue has really become a terrible terrible service.

Avoid this company! It's been going downhill for some time!!

Consistently awful customer service

I have consistently had poor experiences on Jetblue and I do think that this is the last year I renew my Jetblue plus membership. There is no appreciation for loyalty and business.

They have terrible, absolutely awful customer service - abysmal. In this particular instance i missed my flight because I didn't have the proper identification and TSA would not allow me through. This was the last flight out, the individual that was initially assisting me was unsympathetic and lacked any form empathy and her supervisor Renee was no different. They were so devoid of any care for my plight, and every recommended that I go to the spa, while being stuck in the airport for more than 13 hours.

The heartless behavior caught me off guard.

The manager and ticketing personnel purposely and deliberately made life hard for me and pretended to be extending a great deal of courtesy while doing the bare minimum. No one should feel like I was made to feel- as if my business wasn't worth anything.
