I was recently caught up in flight cancellations starting on Sunday 6/25/23. Communication to my cell phone early on the first day prevented me from transporting the JFK and having to turn around.
I was rescheduled for a flight on Monday, 6/26/23 in the morning.
We took a cab to JFK. During the hour cab ride there was no communication of cancellation with us finding out when we entered the terminal.
Stood in line and was informed cancellation was due to weather. After pulling up national radar, there was next to nothing to see which would warrant flight cancellations.
How ironic, the flight we were set to take on Sunday was back on Monday with the schedule showing on time. We weren't rescheduled on that flight.
I followed that flight, and it took off on schedule. If weather was the issue, how do you justify this flight taking off and flying?
I honestly feel Jet Blue rescheduled a ghost flight for those cancelled on Sunday, which was never intended to show up or fly.
The airline industry has the public on a string, making rules as they choose. Not having flight crews or jets is a result of bad planning and following bad policy during COVID.
The general population is having to pay hundreds or even thousands of additional dollars for transportation fees and hotels due to failures in by the airline industry.
When I voiced concerns to the Jet Blue agent, I was told I should have purchased travel insurance.
User's recommendation: Be honest to your customers and train airport agents to be a bit more caring when dealing with customers.

They canceled my flight and won’t issue the refund promised

User's recommendation: I don’t know if I would trust JetBlue anymore. They used to be good but now I’m seeing a different side of them. Yeah wow
Cancelled flight
I was scheduled to leave on flight 359 9/11/23 #KGRDMX
After hours of delay (6 +) you FINALLY cancelled out flight .
To which we then had to wait over another hour to receive our bags
You only offered a measly $12 voucher . NO WATER EVEN ?
So cheap and shameful.
No hotel vouchers . Blatant disregard for you passengers.
It was a *** show. I know there was rain . I get it BUT, other flights took off !?
Then there were few passengers who had been going through this FOR DAYS !?! WHat is wrong with you ?
Some with little kids and you just bailed on them in the middle of the night !?
The next available flights were terrible. NO COMPENSATION FOR MY DAY WASTED !?
I would like my Uber round trip to be compensated or for you to offer me something.
I have been a flying with you for years
But I can tell you im ready to move on...mind you every other passenger that night felt the same.
The last time i flew into JFK you damaged my back (i did get some compensation but not the full $)
WHAT is going on with Jetblue !???

Worst service definitely you lost 7 passenger
To cancel a flight due to illness I don't know what to do

I think Jetblue is doing a great job, customer service is excellent and prices are very competitive when it comes to big players like United and American Airlines.

You'd think possibly little Pete would do his appointed job assisting the public with ongoing issues inside the airline industry. Shouldn't expect anything from Bidens appointed Secretary of Transportation (Buttiigieg) as he's probably spending most of his time flying private jets to Pride events around the country.
Jet Blue lied to you. The say it’s weather so they don’t have to compensate you.
